Sleeper stage

Still going to look like this for a long time with my current budget, but I love sleepers, so it's all good :)

Wish I could rock that sticker, but in present company, it seems kinda hypocritical considering your car has 12 years on mine. :p

Also, that first picture of your GF, is she holding a TSRM? If so, I'd call that a keeper!

Nope, I wish it was a TSRM though, that would be amazing!

It was actually a Twilight novel :3d_frown:

My condolences sir. Hopefully you don't have to suffer that mindless "my-little-pony meets van helsing minus all the cool bits" drivel...

Oh, yeah, don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying that's a deal breaker, particularly if like you said, she keeps that stuff to herself. :)

Odd as this sounds, those sorts of movies are fun to watch if you treat them to a running commentary (i.e. MST3K). :p

But in all seriousness, I don't have to hear about any of that stuff. She just enjoys the story and keeps it to herself :icon_razz

LOL she'd be more than welcome to come here and read, or even watch the movies on my 63" Plasma :D

"Shortened the shifter a tad so I don't feel like I'm rowing a boat anymore".

Oh no! You have destroyed your car! haha. no just kiddin man. I actually just did the same thing. So much better now. But don't let that "SuperMod" with 39,000 posts know that you have done this, else your post might end up in the "Wall of Shame" lol. Plus several other members here on Supramania might give you grief about this too, since your stick shift is not close enough to your steering wheel to race anymore, instead of telling you how you have a sweet car and welcoming you to the club (very cool project that you did here by the way). I bet nobody suspects that you could leave them in the dust with this thing. Major sleeper. How does she feel on the road?

I don't really care what anyone else has to say about the shifter not working right.... becasue it's not in a supra, it was way higher up in this thing. The shifter works amazing and I am very happy with it. Watch the video on the end of my previous post, then tell me I can't shift with this thing! haha, spin into 4th...

Thank you for your comments! I really appreciate it, especially after all this hard work!

Driving it on the road is, well, noisy haha, the rear end gears need replacement so it whines a lot.
But...
None of the noise issues matter when you hit the "GO" pedal. It is scary to have so much power in a tiny car. And it still moves out amazingly well even though it is spinning the tires the whole damn time!

holy crap i just saw in your sig that you pulled a 12.4 at 118 on 195s. i've never heard of anyone nailing a low 12 in the quarter on those sized tires with so much power.

any plans to go with a wider rubber patch? it would help tremendously.

i would love to see the look on someone's face who pulls up next to you on the freeway in a C5 vette or something and then you completely destroy them. very cool CeliSupra bro.

It's amazing what it can do with little tires.... It just works!

C5 vettes? meh. I can pull away from stock C6 Z06's :)

I ordered some 15x8" steelies with 6.5" backspacing from diamond racing wheels for the rear.

issue is though, I ordered them April 14th, they said it would take 6 weeks to get them to me... and I am still waiting, they keep giving me the run around! They won't call back and they are trying to tell me I ordered them like 2 weeks ago. It's BS and I'm getting pissed about it!

Rear tires will be 235/50/15 M/T Drag Radials

Ok, so where's the new vid with the new meats??? I know it's only been two hours since you've installed them, but we all know you've already hit the streets with your camera.
When ya gonna take her out to the dragstrip?

No vids with the new meats yet, I don't have a cameraman!

You have a girlfriend...? Those tires look so much larger than they actually are, I love that about small cars. Kinda gives away your secret though, if people know what to look for in a car...
