Good call. Fastening my seatbelt would MOST DEF. still be #1 on my list though.

That's like almost the first thing I do when getting into a car, so that's like ''out of question'' :icon_razz

I actually almost immediately thought more along the lines of murder/suicide or double suicide.

Highly unlikely.

I'm curious if alcohol was involved. It happened at night and the driver somehow missed a turn in the road.

Does no one feel bad for the home and truck owner? Personally I don't feel any pity towards retards that speed like that and don't even protect themselves with 50 year old seat belt technology.

Judging from the video.. be on the lookout at the wreckers if you need red interior pieces. :p

Offensive and Ignorant all in one post.... well done you're a shining example. :nono:

Seems every post has a reoccurring theme, SEAT BEATS! Why do people not wear them, seriously those two would still be alive....so sad that 10 seconds to put on a seat beat could have saved their lives.

Seatbelts might have helped, but I think the blunt force trauma from hitting the truck then the house at that speed would have left them vegetables or dead anyway.

stuck throttle linkages?

Isn't that the same thing they said when Nick Hogan wrecked?

If someone is dumb enough to drive without their seatbelt, they're dumb enough to a lot of other dumb shit - Speeding for example.

While any loss of life is sad, these people were more than likely complete and utter bloody idiots, I won't go as far to as they deserved it, but they certainly had it coming.

Stay safe people.

Video doesn't work anymore.

Either way, I can gather what happened by the comments.

Not wearing seatbelts = stupid. I've heard all sorts of excuses from people as to why not to wear them. Usually it's "I heard about this one time when a guy/gal got in a wreck and if he/she was held in place he/she would have been crushed". Anyone who uses that excuse, or any for that matter, needs to take a statistics course. I hate to say this but they had it coming. I guess everyone who thinks they are special and exempt from the fact that bad stuff can happen to them has a lesson to learn. Unfortunately, when it comes to wearing seat belts, that lesson usually ends up being learned by their survivors.

I personally don't put my belt on til I'm out of the driveway/parking space/what have you, too much of a pain in the ass to turn around three or four times with it on. I haven't driven my Supra in so long I don't remember if it was like that or not, but I know it is with my Mom/Dad/Sister's car. Hard to find sympathy for these two.

seatbelts are for sure important 100% of the time, but i doubt they would have saved these people from the force of hitting a truck and then flying into a house
