You would be suprised what that little strap can do. With it they had a good 50/50, without 0. My Grandfather died in a 40mph wreck because he didn't have one on, and my brother survived un-scathed in an impact with an oak tree at 75mph because he had one on.

yeah seat belts are life savers, last chrismas I was in the back seat of my buddies mid 90s BM'r and my cousin was in the front, well to say the least ice on the road didnt help. So slowing from over 100 into a frozen corn field, rolled it twice. crawld out without a scratch.

You know...Acouple years ago, I experienced this.

It was in the late evening hours right after the Indy Supras 2006 Meet...
I got caught behind. Supra group was up ahead of me, right in the middle of the city, wen to get up and go and the throttle linkage stuck open...Pedal to the floor. That was one of the most frightening and life-threatening feelings I've ever had.
Being put on the spot, you'd be surprised how many people would and could forget to just simply turn the key. Needless to say, I roasted the brakes off my car going 80MPH through city traffic...:nono:

I hope this wasn't the problem in this accident...But either way, it's unfortunate that lives were taken.
