the video that says "Two dead in accident, driver thrown 150 ft"
at the bottom or maybe second page

It's on the page you gotta click it. Should have been wearing seatbelts :3d_frown:. I wonder what happened though... I bet they were going way more then 90.

HOLY SHIT! They had to be going over 100MPH to fly that far. 350ft from the roadway, flew through the air, hit the back of a truck, and still had enough momentum to fly through the air again and hit the TOP of the house!

That's a really bad crash, yikes.

But I agree with above, if they were wearing seat belts, they probably could have made it. Just look how the passenger compartment still has its shape.

didn't know supra's can fly.

Rip peeps. Don't understand, why would you do over 100mph on that road, not wearing a seatbelt ??

Wow...why wouldn't anyone, anywhere, period, not wear their seatbelt? I'm sure this isn't the first time that anyone who's seen this video has seen something like this. Seems totally senseless and preventable :3d_frown:

On another note, makes me wonder how a targa car would stand up to an accident like this...:ugh:

That supra was probably going well over 90mph to achive that. I would bet if they had their seatbelts on they would be alive, in alot of pain, but alive.

Anyone else get the toyota commercial right before it played the clip?

Yep, I had a friend who wrecked a 98 Integra and it looked very similar to that; accident reports indicated that he was going anywhere from 95-120 MPH. I don't personally believe it coulda been 120 cause I don't think that car would have gone that fast, but nonetheless...he's VERY lucky to be alive and un-injured.

The targa model definitely would not have held up as well in that crash...they would have been crushed by the collapsing roof...

I've always wondered if it'd be more likely to collapse or simply shear off? After all, it is only held on by 4 less-than-1/4" bolts...I'm sure it just depends on the accident though

Ever seen the pictures of the girl that crashed the targa Porsche 911? The roof basically collapsed, and smashed her head. It wasn't pretty.

We had a few meets here in Spokane, and I have never seen that car. That was very close to where I live. Damn that is really sad, I hate seeing things like this! Today is a bad day we lost another supra :3d_frown:

The Supra didnt look all that bad I bet they would have survived if they were wearing seatbelts.
