So does the wax hold it's shape just long enough to cool down the metal in position? Or is there something else involved? do you have a positive and negative wax mold?

The wax is burned out and replaced with metal.

I was smearing wax inside. The saw was the first thing I found that would work. By heating the saw blade, the wax releases right away.

This process will pick up a fingerprint. The cleaner I can get the surface of the wax, the less work I have to do when it's cast. If you think this is taking a long time, wait until I start the wiring.
