The 26 cars in Indy was EXTREMELY rare. You don't even know how rare that was. I think it wsa successful due to it's early in the year timing. Lucky thing about it was it didn't rain. If it rained, I bet you could count the attendees on one hand. Hard to plan a major meet and hope that it not rain. Spring time is tough like that.

I wouldn't count on the ohio people being back (3 cars) should there be another Indy meet. Why should they support ours if we don't support theirs.

Al, you're making me feel bad man.:icon_conf

I came for the one day that I was able to.(I can speak for Matt, too.)
If it were planned a week before it was, I definately would've been there all 4 days...but...I had things to do. I am DEF. not the type of person to not go to a meet because I'm scared or intimidated...Heck no, I love meeting new people and talking to Supra guys IN GENERAL.:nono:

Also, this mini meet july first is now A PITCH IN BBQ.

YOU MUST BRING TWO THINGS TO THE BBQ. YOU BRING CHIPS, YOU BRING MORE CHIPS. YOU BRING HOT DOGS, YOU BRING BUNZ.

Yeah, what Jon said. I'll cover a couple lbs of burgers, but that's about it. Again, if I could get a "hey I'll be there" from anyone who is gonna come, that'd be awesome. Otherwise it looks like it's Me, Jason, Jon, and Jeff.

What the hell you kids wanting to do? Just hang out and shoot the shit? Hell, if we swap that turbo out today jeff, looks like we'll have to do an NA->T conversion on the 1st. :icon_bigg

LOL...would this mom by chance be a member of "Westport's Hooters"?;)
Also, it is on a Saturday, not Sunday!:)
Matt, I'd be down for helping out w/ the NA-T swap. Never done it before and I'd like to learn a little "sump'm sump'm".

Who's bringin' what? I'll bring chips or soda or somethin...

It's kinda sad that the organizers threw in the towel though (not sure if that was the reason why) Hell, KYANA Supras pretty much died after they planned this huge meet with something like 30+ Supras registered to be there or something. I think like 6-7 of us showed up, and it was a beautiful day so there wasn't really an excuse.

yep that was why we quit having them for a while.
however, we did have 2 very successful meets last year and had thought about doing another one this year. but, andy's car is apart doing a head. chris's car is apart doing a turbo swap. william's car is apart getting painted. my car is starting to look like a car again.

hopefully things will start to turn around again. but there will always be excuses. and excuses are the shackles of the uncommitted.

BBQ probably start about 6-6:30... or when everyone shows/gets too hungry...

I'm all about waiting for some "straglers" or what have you. Ohio has a monthly meet where they just hang out, and I think that sounds like an AWESOME idea. Hell, I love going over to MDC and just shooting the shit w/ him, I've learned SO much just by doing that.

Ya'll want hamburgers/hotdogs? I want some kick-ass baked beans, so I'll have those most likely. Again, I don't wanna drop $30 in foods for 5 people showing up, so if U could RSVP or w/e by next week, that'd be awesome!

Still looking for some timewasters...

So far we got an NA->T swap, shooting the breeze, dyno/test'n'tune via Gtech <-- $5 to the best hp run (if funds permit) , Corn hole :icon_bigg , chillin by the pool (if it's 100+ like it has been), and eating.
