So rather than the JB weld, could I just get someone to tack a few "knots" out near the end?

Maybe I should stop being lazy and just pull it off and check... or get Jason to do it for me.

Yea, Actually it's not really needed. I have ran mine w/o any lip & never ran into a problem with the Turbo to IC section. Now IC to TB is a diffrent story. I would def. put a beed on all the ends there.

Why isn't there any more pictures or vids been posted of the meet? There must be more out there.

OK... someone help me out...

MY engine, fresh rebuild (stock), Just rolled over 1k miles *after my jdm tyte odometer adjustments*, anyway, it's done this since the get-go.

I'll start the car up in the AM, let it idle and the oil PSI is at 20+ psi (I'd say 25-ish)... driving down the road it's about 35-40psi depending on RPM... And when I get to work I let it have it's 30 sec minimum cool down or w/e... oil PSI is sitting at 10-15 psi... WTF? Bad Gauge, sending unit, or pump? It doesn't leak any oil, just a quick puff of smoke if it sits for a while, no funky sounds coming from the engine... Only thing I can think of is that I'm still running the 30wt and not the 20w50 I'm used to having to scrape out into the oil filler.

Fuel Cut problem- continued... If I had plugs in and the car was running super rich for a while (timing jumped a tooth) could they be just bad enough to be cutting out at high boost? Yes, I AM too lazy to just change them myself to find out. :icon_bigg The richness was probably 500 or so miles back.

^ Ignoring you shit... I told you to freaking call me and I'm still waiting.

I'll be in Columbus tomorrow from 7:30am-9-ish PM, 7-4 at the hospital, 4:30-9 at Advance. It's just chillin in the garage. I'll try to save some cash for when you blow your car back up again.

^ You put that Lex on, keep the boost where it's at now w/o upgrading some other crapp... That BHG will be back SOON. And Chances are I'm going to start working at St Francis in Indy so I wont have any time to screw around w/ it again.

Not to mention I'm still worried about the head being fubarred.

I really do hope it all turns out good for you, but there were some big corners (IMO) cut. And I'm curious so I'll ask... Are you planning on turning down the boost at all?

^ No Jeff has your tools. Shop manual is sitting in my car, waiting to get ahold of you about a DP and a freaking 6 month rain-check o2 sensor while we're at it.

15-16 PSI on a stock HG regardless of bolt torque numbers is pushing your luck Jeffy.

Jeff doesn't have your tools. Or, at least not all of them. Matt, I thought you took some stuff with you when you left...

Jason: I did it for over a year driving hard.
Again, Only reason I blew it NOW is because I was fed up and drove it home w/ the temp sitting past H and my stupid overflow tank line/cap was accidentally left out.
