The proper flywheel bolts are M10x1.0 - an oddball for GM. They are rediculously priced through GM, but I found these Ford racing parts through Summit for about $10. The goal of any project should be to minimize the number of Ford parts, but I like saving money too.
The flywheel is a custom machined piece of dubious origins. The ring gear is common to the other atlas engines, but the crank pattern is another oddball. The 4 and 5 cylinders are 6-bolt versus the 8 bolt pattern of the I6.
