Congrats on what you've done so far, it's nice to see a build that's moving quicker than mine. New suspension should be put on my car sometime next week, I'm stoked. Also, this thread is confusing, are you still N/A?

It wasnt boiling... As far as I know. Wouldnt the top come off if it boiled? It is VERY worn tho. So tomrrow I am going to drain it, refill it and burp it. See if that helps. if not. Chris, ya got a brake cylinder assembly?
BTW I believe they gave out after a VERY hard stop coming up to a stop light in the middle of fucking nowhere for a one lane road. So its gonna sit all night. Then some DOT5 fluid is going in lol. Never gonna boil!

But still none the less. It needs to be drained. Its brown. Nasty. Gotta read in the TSRM how to go about doing that.

Grab some vac hose put it on the furthest bleeder then crack it a touch and get a bud to push the pedal, repeat a few times for each wheel then buy some Metholated Spirits and run that through repeating the process until it comes out clean.
Now get your new Brake fluid and repeat until it comes out clean discard the contaminated fluid and bleed using fresh fluid.
Brake fluid by nature is "hygroscopic" meaning it attacts water so if you just drain and replace you might still have water contaminating the system by using the metholated spirts it's surrounds the water molecules and removes them giving you a clean system. (also works for water in the fuel tank)
Now get your new Brake fluid and repeat until it comes out clean discard the contaminated fluid and bleed using fresh fluid.

If you bleed it all through there's no need to sponge it out as you risk damage to the paintwork.

Ignore what the TRSM is saying.
Bleed it from the bleeder nipples on each calliper you're trying to flush any and all crap out of the system , you want the Metho to be clean when it comes out before moving onto the next step.
By rights brake fluid should be changed each year or so but most times it's only ever changed when there is a problem like this or a leak....

Okay IJ. Ill give it a shot.
Im assuming I should add the Alcohol while the valves are open? Then procede to stomp the brake pedal till it emptys itself? Tommrow it shall be done
