In all seriousness though, Jason - Don't jinx me. This would be meet #3 that my car would fail on me with something serious at the last minute. :nono: But with a now completely different motor, hopefully I won't carry on that bad luck streak. :cry:

Can't wait for the meet! There will be a couple Supras that will make the trip worthwhile no matter what the occaision...I'll say that much. :naughty:

its been hell trying to get in touch with the people at the track. how many people really care about going to the track on sunday? the dyno on saturday is locked in for sure.

Finally have a decent camera, about 6 Charged 2,500MAH batterys, 2 5.0 megalpixel cameras, and a Clean ass Supra. I'm ready, so..

The meet is this Saturday?
And the Dyno/Track hasn't been decided yet?

I have school so anything during the weekdays within 8am-4pm EST count me out. Love to see those names getting up there. When something is decided please PM me and I will edit my first post with map, time, and date information including all the names. I'll post what I've got so far

Nope, not THIS weekend.

Official, (but now seeming not so official) dates, have been set for November 10th and 11th.

But if we are going to be serious about getting in some track time, then it looks like that Friday (November 9th) will be the day to go to the track.

I don't know...I'd be perfectly happy with Dyno and maybe a small cookout on Saturday and then Sunday, maybe a mini-show and shine, meet-up, and go for a cruise.

Then again, it would probably be more convenient and "jam-packed" , if we do everything in one day.

Lets start setting some dates and events in stone.

RacingTechnologyCompany builds very high horsepower MkIVS, they have lifts and dynos, also they are right down the street from Injected Performance, they are the only people (to my knowledge) to build a 1000rwhp 350z street legal. Just suggestions, they are both in Lexington

the dyno is right inbetween lexington and louisville. i know the guy that started rtc, as well as the guy that owns injected. pretty cool guys. not really sure who owns rtc these days, it has changed hands a few times.

anyway, nov 10th is 100% locked in for the dyno and cookout.

the track is looking to be better for the 9th. they want you to qualify, or atleast raced in car wars before if you want to race in the car wars final on sunday. also, its a lot more expensive to race since its an actual event. friday is more of a fun night, and cheap to race. usually not very crowded, so could do several runs. gates open at 5pm, and 6-11pm for racing.

Yeah man, I think Greg Baker had owned RTC at one point, then he sold it to a kid named Dan, who isn't too bad, wait no he's horrible. You only see Honda's and rarely an MkIII or MkIV. And I know Greg and Marty up there at Injected, they are the coolest people ever, not to mention Greg talks to Ryan Woon and Cody P.

I can make it to both, if there's an address to the places for the track/dyno cookout let me know. I could use a price of how much it will be to track, and dyno.. I'm gonna start saving!

stephen jessie is who started rtc. was originally jl performance. then it was pro modified, then jl again i think, then rtc. at some point, i think pro mod, is when he partner'd with greg.

the track is 718 11th st, clay city, ky. $10-15 to race.
the dyno is 1304 alton rd, lawrenceburg, ky. price tbd. should be ~$50 range

got a hold of the guy with the dyno he said he wouldn't be able to do any weekends for the rest of the year unless somthing came open or he could get off work so that is probably a no show on that.
on side note i suppose i will offer if any one needs any parts that we can try to bring anything that a person needs to the meet i have Recaro seat i'm tring to get rid of that would to hard to ship if any one local is intersted i have in the for sale section thank

Guys, I'm glad I remember to check into this section every now and then, because I almost missed this.

I'm pretty sure I can get off work for this meet if it's in November.

Mike, you got a good, newer (like '91 or '92, possibly '90) GTE block with a 7M crank laying around? I need one so I can start my build soon. I also need a non BHG'd GTE head. If you don't have one of those, then a GE head will suffice, no cams, springs, valves are needed, but if you don't want to bother taking them off I'll dispose of them for you. PM me a price and if you can manage a way to get something that big up there or not.

BTW, I'm the person who bought the white +'89 spoiler off of your last fall meet .


Also, If anyone is interested in buying the hard to get PROBE pistons, I have a set of .020" over with rings and everything that I'll be willing to sell. I've decided to go with ROSS pistons instead.

oh c'mon chris, bd/hartford isnt that far! the dyno/cookout is about 30min east of louisville. the track is probably too far for you to go. but you would be welcome to come on sat.

also, i need to start getting an idea of who wants to dyno. the start time for sat will depend on the number that want to dyno. the more that want to, the better the price, and the earlier we have to start.

I'll be coming up in my Eclipse, the clear coat turned to shit on me since last year (amazing how bad a paint job can turn in a year) but I don't trust my supra to make it up there with the rods a knock-knock-knockin on heavin's door .
