Incase he doesn't have a chance to get on here anytime soon...

Armando will not be able to make the meet. It's unfortunate, I know...:cry:
But under this situation, he really just CANNOT make it. So...Remove his name on Attendance & Dyno.

Myself...I didn't think I was going to be making it (In my Supra) as of 3 days ago...Because I had a few strange occurrances that led me to believe I'd be pulling my head once again for certain reasons...But, as of TODAY, everything seems good...So...I still plan to be there in my Supra.
As for dynoing, it's still a *maybe*, but I'll likely still try to get in 2 pulls.

Aww man, well I would rather not know the reason. If you wanted us to know you would have told us. But I'm pretty sure it's a good reason. Whatever it is just take it easy and I will be praying for you.

i hope this isnt like other supra meets were things start falling apart at the last min. still, with over 30 people signed up even if half show up it should be a good time!

now lets just start hoping for good weather!

yeah im going to try to drive my 89 turbo. My wife want to drive my 87 NA. But I dont drive that car in the rain. So I hope its nice!

It's not that big of a deal. It's work related, but he can't go to his "boss" because he IS his own boss. He owns his business, so "calling off work" is not an option when you have clients or something to be taken care of.
Aside from that, we were doing a boost leak test last night at my house, we found the boost leak, but apparently the turbo didn't like that too well...AT ALL afterwards. :aigo:
So...Even if he were available that day, he'd be having to scramble to get it running again with a new turbo.

Well you're still coming Boostlee right?

I think my Neutral position switch went out. I will personally pay someone to come down here and take a look at my car and fix it. I can buy new parts if necessary, but I don't trust everyday mechanic shops, and I don't have the money for Toyota to fix it.

guys if i'm understanding right we are going to clay city to race on friday. i will be wiling to drive the truck up there if any need parts. i have a couple of sets of wheels that i would like to get rid of ,r154, any body panels, 3 piece spoiler, and most any other part that you might want or ask for. this is only at clay city that the truck will be there i plan to be in a supra for the curise i don't really want o have to bring any parts up there but if need be i migth depending the part my cell is 606 362 8124 if any one needs to call instead of pming just let me know

also does any know of any local shop in kentucky that do dyno tuning on the maftpro set up other then Racing Tec Company (RTC) in lexington

Yep, Dave dbSupra will be doing mine at the meet. He has a fancy state of the art laptop with all the updated program versions & data saved for just about any set up. He is cuttung me a break & only charging me a 6 pack of Bass Ale per 1/2 hr.

i might see how he does yours and some time head up his way and get mine done but i still have to put the motor through a few laps. is he doing the tuning at clay city>?

OMG is hoofn motor sports where we are doing the dyno pulls? I know the guy who owns or use to own that. Is this at his house by any chance. Tony Heady is the guys name and he had a dyno at his house in his garage. Is this the same place? I havent talked to him in a while so Im not sure if its still his. I use to work with him.

yep! its tony. pretty cool guy. ive been going out there for the past year or so. i think he still works at toyota.

mike- yeah ive been doing some maftpro tuning. let me know when you want to tune, or i could do it at the dyno while at the meet. its ~100 miles from your house.

well you know of all the problems i have had with rtc so i need some one that can tune but the car hasn't been driven but around 50 miles on the new motor i have had some other issues and haven't been able to drive it and now it is ready but i'm not sure about the mixtures that it is setup for if that will be ok or not just to be driving it around

from the first time that the car was tuned adn the maftpro was set i have put new injectors, intercooler, and turbo so i'm pretty sure the settings will not be near right but i want to drive the car some before i dyno tune just so that i can see if the motor will hold. i just worried that the setting might be to off the wall and that what driving i do will end up messing something up

As long as you A/F ratios are sufficient for cruising (what are they supposed to be around? 14.5??) Then the car should be good for a cruise, just don't get down on it until you have it dyno tuned. What you need to do is figure out what you cruising A/F's are right now and see if it's in the okay range to drive it for now...
