thanks for the nice comments guys, got the wheels and everything on today, took it out for a spin.
it rides like a DREAM, and im getting much more looks than before.

Funny thing, I almost purchased the XXR 502's this year also haha. Glad I picked up the ones I have now or there would be 3 of us.

Chris, I'm running the 550s with 28psi fuel press (vac on) but right now I'm only at 14psi and runnin rich the whole pull, like 10.5 afr.
Not suprised I only ran 111mph in the 1/4 last nite but with a 3865lb race weight I'm happy.
Kamikaze I got the weeks in a week, and it was a full staggered set, no individuals.

ok yeah, what I ment tho was what kind of fuel are you running. ie. 91,94 pump or a little race gas when you turn it up. At 14psi on a stock head id imagine a better fuel wouldnt be needed really.

hoping to add water/meth soon so i can crank it up to 20-22psi when i put my rebuilt MHG engine in.
last time at the track @17 psi on pump it trapped 114-115 so i know its got a lot more potential, but i really NEED to get it tuned. its hard finding someone around here that knows 7m's and maft pros.

Hey man - the car was lookin real good at the strip last night. You will be proof of what a tune can do. Dial in your AFR's and you'll see a huge difference.
I should have my car at the strip in a month or so. It'll be 15-16psi on a HKS Sport 57trim w/ Lex/550's/AFPR/Walbro/SAFC2.

Fml today I found a decent sized spot of oil under my car...
Sooo I'm gonna assemble my original mhg 7m.
All new clevite bearings, a fresh hone, and rings.
I aquired a nice freshly redone 7mgte head complete with cams. So that's goin on the engine.
Last couple days I've been glass beading all the external engine parts I can including the trans bellhousing.
Everything on the bottom half o the engine will be high temp 2000* silver so I can see leaks easily. The top of the engine will be a mix of blue and silver.
Pics will come tomorrow when I get more shit together.
