In the risk of being banned, I have started to clean the engine... Yes there is no more oil on the engine, cause we all know that would cause bhg and epic failure.

Engines don't have oil on them because they run, they have oil on them because they leaked oil.

I love having a motor that doesn't leak a drop, makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

It sure is quiet in this thread now...

I'm only quiet bc no matter what I say, it'll be taken wrong AGAIN and a shit storm will develop so I've just been sitting and watching. :)

Great thread. Im surprised at Tanya's reaction though, I lurk around way to much on cs.com and out there she praises anything MA61 related so I thought she wouldn't mind the drivetrain either. Don't worry though, I know where you are coming from. Funny how you kinda praised the 6m so much higher than the 5m even though it only makes a few whp more, and its basically the same shit but in a different pile.

I would do this swap so in 5 years I can sit around a table with all my friends and laugh about the 5m mk3 and how cool it was, imagine walking up the his mk3 and going for a drive. You'd be way more excited around it than with a normal 7mge MK3, why? Because it's different and humans like that. How it revs, pulls, sounds, inducts air will all be something new to him. Sounds cool! Boosting it will be a pleasure, if you don't mind mind working out all the electronic and drive ability issues.

MAD Respect to Tanya for creating such an awesome 6mge in her car.

Since you mentioned reliability was something which attracted you do this build, I would stick with NA power. Build up a nice high compression 5m with sick exhaust and itbs.

This should be a lot of fun in winter. Saved another mk3 from going to the junkyard, and giving it a new lease on life lol..

Mad props to these guys. Doing something different just for the sake of doing it.

Hooked up with Push in the GTA on the weekend. Went for a fast cruise through Hamilton with him driving one of my MK2s, talked cars and hit the pub in Burlington.

Is this for the haters?

Wiring nightmare... you have to be kidding, piece of piss. Dirty engine bay who cares, it runs. Some don't have time to deal with this as they are looking after their kids.

It's all about having fun and if it cost nothing, all the better. I wish them the best in all their future projects.
