being a business head, I'm all for cost vs effectiveness
if you got the shell, and got the engine for free, and put it in and made it work, grats for you dude
even if it'll be slower than hell and probably won't make it past 100mph at the moment
but seriously, if you're going to build a performance engine, I suggest you drive this with the 5m, and spend your hard earned cash into the 7m that you pulled out, make it fresh, rebuild all the internals, put in a great turbo like a GT35R and save your self alot of money and problems later on down the road
in the end, it's your money, we can only make suggestions, although SOME OF US here are more passionate about it than others

that being said, I have a 7mge that is running decently (I don't do any maintainance on it, I can careless if it blows up today or tomorrow, it's going to the scrapper if it fucks with me) I'll give you a run for your money dude
ps: rod knock isn't hole in the block
and if there is a hole in the block, and the owner is still trying to race, that ass hat should be shot, killed, and have his entrails hanging by the gate. if it has rod knock, you tow it home, not race it

and this thing had "real time all wheel drive" with a slider to control where your 130hp goes!!!

It would want to be easy, it looks dogshit, no offense but that is downright feral and needs ripping out and doing properly. Doing a cheap build doesn't need to be rough as guts. And you might want to get a shroud on it too, they are there for a reason.
The reason this thread is quiet is because people are shaking there heads with disbelief that someone would own up to doing something this rough only to pull the finger at people that were actually half interested to see how all this would turn out.
