Boosted: Thanks!

Dave: The mold is still intact, it just popped out. I couldn't see being able to break this mold it's hella strong.

Sniper: Thanks!

Kurt: That is a posibility...

woot!

Good job btw.. not only in the quality of workmanship, but just in reading these type of threads (between yours, buckshotglass', and groupA's), I'm getting the itch to get going on my car more and more every day... :D

Ok a few things I've been working on...

1. Got my new seats in this weekend, Corbeau GTS II seats. I tried mounting them with sliders, but that made them sit too high, my head was touching the roof :icon_conf . So I got them in the position I wanted and made brackets to mount them. The rear of the seats are actually touching the floor, but this puts them in perfect alignment for me :icon_bigg No shorties will be driving it, thats for sure.

2. Finally got the wale-tail mounted that I got from Ben (aka: Bigzavs). It wasn't sitting right on the car initially (poor production). So I had to reform some spots to make it sit properly, mainly the two sides that "over hang" onto the fenders. They needed about 1/4" shaved off in order to sit right. I painted it satin black.

3. I took some pics of the steering wheel mounted in the car, the car now feels SOOOO much better with this wheel and the new seats, it's great ;) In some of the pics you might be able to see the boots I made for the shifter and E-brake handle, not the best as I'm no seamstress, but they're a lot better than the old ones.

Thanks Dave! (yours is look'n great too!) These seats weigh 27 lbs each and seeing as I'm not using any sliders.....yeah I dropped some weight ;)
damn!
Those are some nice lookin seats too.
Kinda remind me of the JDM recaro's a bit.
Where did you find those and how much did they run ya?
