Way back I ran a Toyota 3.4L V8 which I made a LOT of one off custom parts for as there was 0 aftermarket.
I use 6.5:1 Mahle Forged blanks made my own billet steel Cam and a set of moddified Ford V8 Roller lifters, to this I added a pair of smallish t04's and managed 480 rwhp.
The Motor was so old school looking back I can't believe it made such good power, a pair of 2" SU' carbs and 30 psi helped along with the meth injection.
It was in a 240z (yes I saw the L24 porn in your post) which ended up weighing 1100kgs wet so had amazing performance.
The Mk3 is a whole different beast but I still do things "my way" and this is usually nothing like what anyone else is doing
