I agree about the gadgets. But I have sold over the counter- bottle brackets, warmer, auto opener, universal wet kit, rapid-fire purge, msd 6al, and retard control to the wide-eyed and watch the sticker instead of the hardware be better understood.
I could have "installed" the sticker and the switch, put the stuff in my trunk and told them they weren't using it right and they wouldn't know the difference between sessions of self-amusement. I could argue for hours its "installed and checks out fine" but now I'm just embellishing.
You come by your qualities honestly and hard-earned. On the other hand marrying-off daughters to these men is counter-intuitive so I must love them or else. They turn out okay once the learn my tastes, needs for privacy, and how to bribe secretly.

It was study to fulfill the need for the missing data. I have been thorough and I'm almost done. The 7MGE, since it shares the bottom end is halfway unveiled. It will be next. I have to have the information on missing stock values to know how to modify.
But you're modesty is unbecoming. Easy horsepower is still data. I have been asked to post the 30 pages of piston position and crank degrees overlaid with cam dynamics but that's hardly called for. For most. We need it like boost and I use it more regulary, the knowledge I mean.

Way back I ran a Toyota 3.4L V8 which I made a LOT of one off custom parts for as there was 0 aftermarket.
I use 6.5:1 Mahle Forged blanks made my own billet steel Cam and a set of moddified Ford V8 Roller lifters, to this I added a pair of smallish t04's and managed 480 rwhp.
The Motor was so old school looking back I can't believe it made such good power, a pair of 2" SU' carbs and 30 psi helped along with the meth injection.
It was in a 240z (yes I saw the L24 porn in your post) which ended up weighing 1100kgs wet so had amazing performance.
The Mk3 is a whole different beast but I still do things "my way" and this is usually nothing like what anyone else is doing

I have a 1uze that I'm ignoring. But it was to meet a challange for PINKs a speed channel show. 86 rolla, 1uze x 2 garrett t3-50s but we never had to face the challenge. We never built the car.
Now we are building for fun a MKII. Coyote Ugly and my other car are to be mated. I'm channelling Tanya's car's pan to embrace my body. I want to have the smooth ride of unmolested travel so I'm lowering onto Tanya's naked chassis mine, a certain distance. But here I hate to say, only three inches and I will scrape her bottom on the tarmac.
