Basically she said a lot of nothing Rick...part of it is a repeat of the stuff on Castrol spec sheets. "Products may vary in raw materials as a result of the regional production facility."...translation, German Castrol is a Grp IV PAO based oil...North American Castrol SYNTEC SAE 0W-30 is a Grp III hydrocracked mineral oil.

Just to further support its production...picked up a box of GC with M08's on the bottles. And receipt confirms it with the part# 340533 06068 from previous post.

The Autozone near me has a few cases worth - all with an M07 date. The item number 340533 06068 did not match anything for that store though. It was on the shelf.

I finally received a response from Autozone about that part number above. It turns out the Autozone Sku# is 340533. I just stopped by Autozone and used that number and wham it was there. They didnt have it in that particualr store but they have it in a store a few miles away so I'll pick some up tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the help with the number, and info.

So I was going thru the oil we got in the delivery at Pep Boys earlier tonight and I see a few cases of Castrol Syntec 0w30. It turns out we are starting to carry the 0w30 Castrol oil now. At least in the Southern part of Florida. Our Atlanta distribution center has 2000 quarts and the Indiana distribution center has 2500 quarts. Our part number for it is 06068. The code on the bottom says M06 on ours.

The key to tell the difference:
"European Formula" on the front label
"Made in Germany" on the back label

I thought about this today so I went down to the local Autozone and asked. They have the 0W30 Synthetic European Formula (12 Bottles) and they showed me where they had 15 cases in the back. It said European formula on the front of the boxes and the ones on the Shelf. I will go back and check tomorrow about the Made in Germany label on the Back of them

Anybody need any. Price was $6.49 a Bottle or 41.00 for 12 Bottles.

After i showed my cousin an Oil Analysis from a C6 Z06 owner using GC, and my stash. He went to Pep Boys and saw it and bought a case, and did a oil change in his truck. He said it felt so much smoother.

Pep Boys is running a special on Castrol Syntec. Buy 5 quarts + PureONE filter for 21.99 after 5$ mail in rebate. Even without the rebate its 28.99 for 5 quarts + PureONE filter.

If anyone has problems getting this stuff, I'll be happy to pick some up and ship it off for ya for a very minimal charge. Just enough to cover shipping really.
