UGH,.... BAD news on my car, hopefully doesnt get any worse before the meet.. if it does my supra may not make it :(..... The car started smoking pretty bad, mainly on start up and smokes till its at operating temps then the smoking goes down quite a bit. Its deffinitly oil thats burning the smoke is a blue-ish white color. Once its warmed up it really doesnt smoke bad till i hit full boost, then a big puff of smoke comes out.. any ideas??

when i took the intake pipe off the turbo it looked fine to me, no oil sitting around.

what's the oil pressure? performed a compression test? Letting turbo cool off long enough before shutting down?

Does it smoke (after warm) mostly on hard DECEL (off-throttle) after boosting?

If so, sounds like blown turbo seal.

It does seem to smoke on decel.. but then agian that might just be the smoke catching up to me..lol. like if i come up to a light and stop for a min i'll see some smoke come up past my window.

I know this is a stretch but...

If anyone has the honeycomb piece for the Lexus AFM that they would like to sell me, I'd appreciate it!

I'm upgrading fuel soon and need to reinstall my Lexus AFM but the honeycomb is all kinds of jacked.

Or if anyone has a Lexus AFM for sale then I'd consider buying the whole assembly again.

Thanks guys! Looking forward to meeting you all on the 9th!

What are you doing for PCV? I'm just running breathers on my setup and if they get clogged, that's what my car does too.

I'm on my phone so Im too last to check, but it's like $10 to get in and it goes to Riley childrens hospital... I know supra folk be cheap asses, but it's for a good cause.. Even if it's not for pmch...

I'm failing out, btw. My uncle who painted my Supra in KY isn't doing so hot so I'm going to see him instead of this... Plus Im still short on cash... Boone wants to listen to me cry about that all weekend anyway. I MIGHT raise some hell Fri night on teh souff side witchall... Or sat night if anyone is still up...

Im using a catch can, one vac line to the turbo intake, and the other goes to the ports on the valve covers and port on the throttle body. .. how bad does your car smoke when you had this problem? and did it smoke alot on start up and under boost?

thats good news. usually if you cooked a ring you'd have a lot of blowby and it would collect in the catch can. other than the smoke, car run ok?
