The triple is a bolt in, the only problem with the quad is that it was made for the 1jz/r154 combo. It would work on the 7m, it is just that a flywheel for the 7m would have to be machined to accept the 1jz pp bolt pattern.

I have seen prices posted in the UK for the clutches for about 1200L which would be about 2k. I am sure IJ could chime in since the os giken is made down his way. I think I can get one, but have never ordered one before and have no idea how long it would take or what the real world cost would be. I can look into it. I was always curious myself.

Well thanks Rich.

The twin CF Spec will be bolt in and no mods needed and I would guess for a similar price (it may seem) to a Giken. If this is the case, then I am happy to wait a few months and just run the one I have for a while until it is available.

I hate apples. Now apple juice I do like :D

I have an ATS triple carbon on order. It costs around 2500 and is rated to 1300 hp. I was going to go with the twin but it is only rated to 800. Not that I expect to run that high but I didnt want to spend a bunch of money on a clutch that I might burn after a few years on a really hard run.

I come from a land down under
Rich/Duane: It's not bad now but was HORRIBLE at first until I messed with pivot points for the Clutch Fork.

Mine has solid ceramic/metallic discs so isn't really typical for an OSG as I mentioned earlier.

how do you like the ats? I'm thinking the carbonetic (same company as ats, just their us side).. but 2500 is hard to bite on when i'm only on stock twins, haha.. but need to get a 1jz flywheel and new clutch for my other 91, so why buy again when Ican just upgrade to a carbon like I want (i'm mainly into drag racing)

Duane is the spec a carbon disc and carbon friction plate? or metal plates?

I havent received the ATS yet, and my car isnt up and running..... But, I will be sure to talk about it when it does! It looks like a quality piece and has a lot of different options. You could also go with the twin plate setup - im not sure off the top of my head but I think you could get it for about 1800 bucks. Keep in mind that the RPS TWIN carbon clutch is like 2800 bucks.... The TRIPLE ATS is less. You can even get a stock-tension pressure plate.

I chose to go with the mild upgraded pressure plate. I talk about it a bit in my build thread. Check out pics of it there.

Wow, spec is stepping up to the plate. If the 7M model is going to be anything close to their cobra version http://www.specclutch.com/ (on the main page). It will be the real deal. The Cobra version holds up to at least 1300 ft/lb of torque.
