Hey guys sorry to come in late, haven't been near the computer for over a week, was in rome all week
Anyways, the diff in cams are as follows.
100+90-100 for maching 2jz cams gives about 15-20 hp over previous peak and peak power drops off near 6500ish so
$200-250 for 2jz usdm cams
Crower's (GB) normal price form me 535 gives 40-60 HP gain over your previous peak however, on the 272 small core aka 264's you will hold power till about 700 and then only bleed 30-50 by redline of 8k vs the stock which bled 130 whp by 7800 rpm, and the 2jz which will bleed about 70-100 by 8k
HKS's 264's have more duration but less lift which equates to little laggier spool up but should hold power to redline and possibly make a little more nearer the 7000 mark.
Stock springs are good for FAR more then 7000 RPM more like 8500-9000. I reved to 7800 EVERY day and usually bumped 8300 in first gear because it was over so quick.
I ran the crower 264 with both upgraded springs and stock springs with no problems.
So in short, pay half the price for real cams and get roughly half the performance gain.. IMO if you upgrade your turbo you need to upgrade the revlimit on the 1jz, it LOVES revs and has fuq all with out boost.
