ok i was confirmed from searching that not having a hac will not cause the idle issues and random idle that im having. The ecu and iscv is what controlls the idle. So if i bypass the iscv and cap it off and just back out the idle screw on my 87 throttle body and if the car runs fine then , then i kno its the iscv wiring correct? idk today i have school so no work on the supra is getting done, wensday ill have all day to work on her.

I'm not sure what to tell you man. Don't know if I can provide much more help from here,(If I've been helping at all:icon_conf) I'll keep an eye out though.

Keep us updated:)

Bro you've been so helpful you dont know,

I did get rid of the code 11 with your help lol and overall learn how to and read diagrams etc etc etc.

I'm going to do an experiment tomorrow with the wiring for the iscv. The car right now is on a pattern and every time I start it and turn it off it does something different.

If anything i will bypass the iscv all 2gether and let the car idle from backing out the screw on the throttle body.

but i wanna try just a few more things before i let this problem get the best of me.

Since my issue overall been with the wireharness of this car im sure the wiring of the iscv has to be an issue, one of the steps is not working or something not getting power or grounded something.

Stay tune for updates tomorrow.

Or maybe if jetjock just tells us what the answer is lol.

ok like i said rite now the car is random at idle but almost like a pattern,

so i wanna see if its still going to be random when the iscv is unplugged.

it shouldn't since NOTHING will be controlling the iscv to move so w/e its going to be doing it should be constant everytime i start the car right?

yup 1rst tho im going to make a video to sho you guys exactly what the car is doing now with the diff idle everytime i start it . and then ill get to work experimenting.

if not then iscv is getting capped off, the acordian iscv hole is getting cap off and im just backing out the idle screw on the throttle body.

Did you take it for a road test lately? Mine got down to 1000 rpm after a 5 mile road trip. Sometimes after that when I started it it would be at 1300. Seems to stay at 1000 now after setting the timing again. It was off a few degrees.

I admire your diligence! Every chance you get you are working on it, and reporting your findings. I do wish you luck. I still say drive it, and let the ECU learn an idle. Any change in the code 32? Just a guess here, but would some type of jumper of the HAC have any effect?

ok I'll probably take it out today.

it could be the ecu learning to control the idle ill start it up and let it run and get warm, I now get a code 43 no start to ecu signal but i strongly believe thats from the car being started with the pushbutton starter and not with the key.
Basically the car is being started when the ignition is on but the ecu is not giving out a signal to start the car. I'm assuming this, maybe jetjock can chime in and tell me if im correct.

im about to unplug the iscv and see if its stays the same or is continually random.

o well i just said fuck it and bypassed the whole iscv, i capped it off and just backed out the throttle body screw. It runs super rich at cold idle and when warming up,
but when warm its perfect and consistent.

Also i was able to take the car for a spin around the block for the 1rst time in a very long time and to hear a lil preview of how my open wastegate sounds lol. But no more boost till after the break in miles.

Thanks guys for all the help, I just believe the issue is in the wiring from the ecu to iscv.
