Ehhhh, kinda odd look. IMO the front of a supra is perfect...its the high ass back bumper that's funny looking to me.
I agree with you about the front end but the rear end looks much better on the 89+.shaeff;1227384 said:Toyota had it right w/ the 86.5-88's. Then they had to go and screw it all up w/ the '89+ cars!
The above picture ruins the lines of the car. It's likely to look the same if you fire a missile at it head-on. That is, of course, my opinion.

I've seen one on here before, it was a red supra. It was posted on a thread comparing the pre 89 with a shaved licence plate and the 89+ with the turbo A duct. I'll poke around and see if I can find it.Zer0DeGreeZ;1228381 said:has anyone ever (on a pre-89) changed the front turn signals to the post 89 but of course left the bumper the pre-89? I imagine you'd have to take out or make a customs centerpiece, but curious what it looks like.

For me, it depends entirely on the car. (I actually like the '89+ fronts, too, just not as much as the pre '89)Canuckrz;1227413 said:I agree with you about the front end but the rear end looks much better on the 89+.
Nope, they were all afraid of getting banned. LOL, j/k!bmoss85;1227445 said:hey did anyboby ever tell you your opinion is wrong, lol!!

However I was thinking the center piece made of CF and the top grille being slightly thinner from left to right and then no grilles filling them, and in the top duct the toyota emblem would be centered. otherwise damn close to what I was thinking but a tad still off.

Well the bumper would have to have a frame around it, and stick out, and be part of the header panel...
RazoE;1232491 said:not yet, might work on it today once I get home...
I'll have to pop out the signals or recess the header panel, I'm thinking of doing the former, so we'll see what I can whip up..
From your description is pretty much want an Evo X bumper on the MKIII, with a flat abbreviated nose..
