idk man I thought the grill inserts really brought it together. And don't put a turbo A duct in the cf part it would just make it look way too busy.

Perhaps your right about the turbo-a duct. but grille inserts is just my personal taste however they will need to be custom made as i'm guessing the company that makes it won't make the grille insert without charging extra.

True, I was thinking that would be the case. Likely as well with that center beam being fiberglass and CF being extra.

I just wonder if shine would even be interested? I've not really dealt with a company face to face like that before. Should I make another thread and make it a poll, and then let shine know about it or what?

Its possible. They'd have to gauge interest, then they'd have to make a prototype, then before they're produced they'd have to have so many put their name down on a list saying that they'd buy one.

I organize the Shine group buys.

The chances of Shine taking on this project is: zero.

I think its kinda neat, but also looks like its unfinished, and if it was smoothed out, it'd end up looking like the stock one :p

It also looks like someone trying to cleanly modernize it by using the latest styles...Evo X obviously, also R35 GT-R, GTi, non-USDM Fords, Audis, etc.

I dont have 'shops of an Evo X bumper, but heres a few of the Evo IX:

My next project might be an aftermarket E36 bumper, but its not too different and doesnt look too different. I want to make something clean with a bit of extra intercooler room, but at the same time its incredibly hard to beat the pre89 front.

Why not? If a lot of people like it, which I think they do then why wouldn't shine create it if the market is there?

Haha, so because I didnt even bother trying to color match the bumper with the rest of the car because of how different the shades and colors are, you like it because its like the real two tone cars :biglaugh:
Hey man what can I say that black and silver two tone looks hawt :naughty:

To get a real feel for the bumper I'd have to see it on a car with the same color paint.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Too often I've seen parts look great in release photos, then when people take pictures of it installed in the real world etc., it ends up looking very different.

Until I see something in person from a bunch of angles etc., I will never be 100% satisfied. Its nobodies fault that it ends up that way, it just happens.
