I took my jeep into get new tires on no big deal just tires. I also ask to put my old tires into the back(they are brand new basically), oh and I asked for the lugs to be torqued on no air gun. So I drop it off, 20 minutes later they call...
'yea, so it looks like your differentials need fresh fluid. also your serp belt is really cracked and looks about to go. your fuel filter is over due for a change.'
Seeing as I just changed the diff fluids less than a month ago I knew its all BS(well I knew before but that confirmed it). The belt and fuel filter are also just fine. So whatever I decline any service other than my tire of course. I pick up the jeep and about to go and ask about the old tires, of course they arent in the jeep! He stashed them in a dam closet and was going to keep them Im sure! He acted all shocked they forgot about the tires, but he knew right where to find them! They also adjust my seat and marked my steering wheel a bit(still a mark that wasnt made by me!).
Of course when I got home, first thing came out the torque wrench! None of the lugs were on to spec, some were barely on some where REALLY on. I still gotta check the pressure before I drive it again.
Normally I would just take the tires off the car(supra) and take them just to swap the rubber. I figured the jeep tires are huge theyd never fit in the supra and I didnt have any other ride there... Never again though, noone touchs my rides.
