DD over here too..only car for now... can't wait til i can baby it..

89 N/A with over 130,000 miles.. i've driven bout 40k or so of them.. intake, exhaust, poly bushings, and mad OE parts: radiator, steering rack (pain in the ass to change), clutch fan, alternator, crank, interior parts too...

keepin my fingers crossed that it holds me down until my 1J swap

mines a dd, but I'm hopin to get a beater pretty soon. its only left me stranded once when I took a turn too fast and the tire blew off the rim.

DD for me. I drive mine all year round, in rain, snow, sleet, whatever. I also carry my mountain bike around on the trailer hitch on the back, and sit muddy mountain bikers inside.

It's stranded me once. Of course, what car doesn't do this every few years?

I do not have to depend on it, my wife has a '96 explorer that I can use if I have to. I don't like driving the explorer, though, it's bad in just about every way.

both my supra have been DD. My 88 N/a was my DD for almost a year and never once let me down and extremly reliable, my 90 turbo though has basiclly like 2 mods and it seems to let me down all the time. Its been down for almost 2 months and Now my DD is my bicycle :3d_frown:

I drove my car daily and it was modified until i sold it a few ago. I miss it..but another one will be ready soon as my daily driver.

All mu Supras that I have owned has been a daily driver..adn I mean ..DAILY./.

daily since i got in insured 2 years ago, garaged it last winter but this year i have no winter beater so i will be forced to put some camry 16's and michelin snow tires on it and make it huff through the snow this time unless i can find a snow beater.

left me on the side of the road 1st day i drove it, head gasket. since then nohting has failed me except a sticky starter selenoid that got smacked back into running shape.

I have an 88 n/a that I bought almost 8 years ago that is my DD. It had 98K on it when I got it and it now has 161K. It was rebuilt 4 years ago due to a BHG and a messed up crankshaft from a bad Main Pulley. Had BHG again in the spring due to cheap HG. My wife and I have another car which is her DD, an 83 Cressida with a 5mge. I want to get her another car so I can take the Cressida and go swap happy - 7m into the Cressida and a 1j or 2j into the Supra.

89 supra turbo, works great but it is down for now because i am upgrading the clutch and flywheel :naughty: but i have intake, blitz exhaust, oem 550cc, tanabe dp, hks vpc, hks gcc, hpf test pipe i think that is it, but yeah is a great daily i mean gas of coruse is not of a civic but it is reliable imo, and i love my supra :love:

It's my DD, except for the past month while undergoing an engine swap.

Just took it to the shop to get some stuff done: belts tightened, vaccuum leak fixed, clutch bled. I would have done all of it myself (save for the vac leak, couldn't find it for the life of me) but I have class and it needs to be done before Thursday/Friday.

I heart my daily driving supra. I drive it around 60 miles everyday to college, and it has yet to let me down, although I've only owned her for a few months. 94,000 miles on it, so hopefully my HG dont go soon...jus gotta lay off the boost

I used to drive it every day until I Fu.... the motor up.
I had 3 vehicles at the time between me and the wife.
Now I have 4, so I'm in no hurry to get it going. If I did, I wouldn't drive my daily driver, a '89 4-Runner. The other vehicle that might compete with my Supra is my wife's '02 VW all-wheel drive Passat. All wheel drive is fantastic. But it doesn't even come close to the performance of the almost stock Supra.

My Supra is my only car and has to take me to school and work. I've got full exhaust, intake, RPS clutch, HKS BOV. I would do more but I have a hard time getting the chance to work on it, and I don't want to break anything.

Mine has been my DD since 2/02, of which i have put 50k on it (bought with 68k, now at 118k). It's given me some fits now and again (hg, rad, stupid elbow hose on backside of block, rubber cap right below elbow, full brake system, clutch ms, not to mention a few elictrical gremlins) but nothing that i couldn't fix in an afternoon or weekend. Its still rockin', with a damn carrier bearing that needs to be fixed....

Mines been a daily driver since I sold my fully restored 68 440 dodge charger daily driver that I wore out in 2 years after spending 8 years restoring it. My 89 N/A Suspension Techniques Sway Barred, Poly Bushed, stock height, 245/50-16 Goodyear F1 shod daily driver is a dream car when it comes to handling, flat as a board during hard cornering. I have driven this car daily for 4 years and put 50k miles on it with very few problems not bad for a 3k used car. When this motor expires it will roar with a single turbo once it hits the road again. My latest addition is a wing from an 86 Firebird $30.00 from pick a part. I'm currently working on painting my stock rims with Rustoleum Black Hammered paint to match my side trim and wing. The interior is blue and all stock, perfect condition. The car has 175k miles on it and seems like it will go another 100k.

DD, here. all stock or trying to undo the damage cause by the 3rd owner. and have take her on several 500+ mile trips, from cookeville TN to Memphis TN, and back. never had a problem and this is my only car and i dont have a cell phone i rely on this car very much and i trust it.
