Man, old ass thread revival. Anyways, bought the car bone stock, except came with a fucked up passenger side, probably from the kid owning it before trying to drift with it :3d_frown:. Mods are in the profile, but a lot of them aren't installed.

Here's what's pretty much on it now:

Cooleeze DP (coated and wrapped), test pipe
RSR-GTII exhaust
2.5: DIY hardpipes w/HKS SSQV
Bigger spearco style IC
Replaced most vacuum hoses
intake kit w/SS air filter (don't buy one)
GReddy shift knob (came on car)
Stock CT-26 at unknown boost, probably about 8.5-9.5 psi straight off the unshimmed wastegate. Boost gauge pegs now with the hard pipes and IC installed.
Modified GReddy catch can
OBX coolant resivoir

Interior swap, didn't have rims, did not run of course.

Basically what you need to do to a car when you buy it from a junkyard.

Well when I first bought it, the car ran fine...

Now, there's no motor in it... I guess you could say at this point, I've made it worse...

Wow, I had a post from my last Supra in here, lol.

Anyway, I bought the new one with a blown head gasket and a cracked bellhousing. So I bought a new 7M-GTE and tranny and put that in. New 2.5" IC piping, a new battery, new alternator, new rear window, 4 new tires, and a new master cylinder.

When I found the car It had been parked for 3 years and the owners told me "we just parked it because we bought a new car......WRONG I'll bet they parked it due to the BHG and two spun rod bearings.

Since purchase
*Fully Rebuilt motor
*Newer Interior
*new stereo
*new rims,tires,brakes
*Spent 4 days removing tree sap (still has some)
*About to get repainted

since i bought it ive done the normal maintenance and checks oil, brakes, ect I planned to get an alignment just incase and it turned out the car tracks very straight it doesnt pull at all, Ive fixed very questionble wiring jobs with the antenna and stereo ive replaced a couple rusted panels and the the weatherstripping for the hatch, ive also ruined a perfectly good set of rear kuhmos :)

lots more in the future tho.

next thing on the list is that ugly steering wheel.

*painted the car
*replaced wing that was on it (91 firebird) with correct wing
*replaced e-brake boot
*replaced coin tray with a working one!
*added FIPK
*3" stainless custom pipe cat-back
*Ractive muffler
*tinted back three windows
*replaced mucky drivers side taillight
*replaced rotors with drilled/slotted
*I.C.E.
200Watt pioneer head
2 600 watt pioneer 4 ch amps
2 220 watt 4" door speakers
3 MTX 10" subs
4 Pioneer 400 watt tri-axles

new used engine, rebuilt head, new wiring harness, new CPS, new clutch, HID's, whiteline swaybars, tires, bosche icon wipers (expensive enough to be considered an upgrade), downpipe, water pump, fan clutch, fan shroud, koyo radiator, samco hoses, ect ect ect...

the dealer loves me, and I've spent over $3K over the price of the car...but she starts up and drives EVERYDAY.

Way to much.

Damn you! I was just going to say that...LOL.

I have put a TON of effort and work into my Supra...most was just getting it back to stock and somewhat reliable...it seemed like just about every part on the car either worn out or broken (some things still are)...

I also think it's quite interesting that my diesel benz is 5 years older, has about the same mileage, and was sitting for 10 years outside in dusty, hot central california...and all it needed was to be started and driven...seriously...all I have done is replaced the brake pads, and tires, and drove it over 100 miles on the freeway with absolutely NO problems...hmm...I wonder what that means?? :icon_conf
