m pissed now. so me and the guy with the spyder get out of class and head into town. he picked up some wheel bearings and i got some prices on half shalfts. after wards we took the backroads to university and there is a 3 mile stretch of open road with no houses. so were like "why not get some test runs". we both made individual runs around a 1/8 mile. so we line up and go head to head, first run he spins all the way through second so i just ran away. second run he bogged it and didnt move more than 10 feet. third run i get him by 2 cars from the dig, and out of nowhere he flys by like im not even in gear. my first though is "damn...vaccum leak". nope this butthead has lied to me for months. he doesnt have the GS 4 cyl with 142 ish HP. he has the GT v6 with 200 hp. i was pissed off. so this thread can suck my dik because its either a motor swap or turbo going now.

Why? Plenty of people do it with no problems...You are misinformed about your Honda knowledge.
The B16A is an amazing engine too.. 100hp/liter and the first one was made in 88 or 89...and got 30+mpg.
WhtMa71;1494938 said:I assume we're talking about the F20C. Why run more than 10psi on a motor that was designed for all out NA power? They come stock with 11.7:1 compression and rev to 9,000; 84mm stroke and 9k rev limit means they have the highest piston speed of any production motor.
Throw some forged bits in them and they're just as good as any other floating sleeve, aluminum block motor with a good tune.

i bet the fastest 7m wont even beat a d17 single cam turbo.
a record of 1/4=8.9 at xxx mph......power to weight ratio.
WhtMa71. has a civic. LOL
and i still get 32mpg on my boosted civic
