yeah I did this at the time cause it was cheap and I had no lip at all. Anyway, you guys wanted the pics back and I had some spare hosting space, so its back. Do with as you will, lol.

Wow, what colors does it come in? LOL Can it be painted? Looks really good for what is in it. I may try this if I ever get the time...:naughty:

Actually last time I checked it was under $5 for a new cover, and you can aplly it right on top of the old one. It actually gives it a bit more strength.

It is vinyl and can be painted with any of the typical vinyl interior paint products.

someone asked about a better way to install it...

3M makes emblem tape for attaching, well, emblems. its usually pretty durable, more than the standard white foam tape. it should last about 10-16 years. afterall, that is the stuff that holds the urethane bead on the 89+ side molding and thats just now beginning to fail on my car. id say it had a good 18 year run ;)

Some 3M tape cis very good.

We did some experiments at work and bonded aluminum I beams together with 3M tape.

Nomatter what we did, we could not pry it apart.
