Here she is my first Supra!!!

it takes a while to fill the whole engine with oil, especially with an upgraded oil cooler. crank it without the efi fuse in for a good while (stopping to let the starter cool down of course) before you panic haha. And the flow direction is a good thing to check, most oil filters have a drainback valve so if the filter relocation's ports are hooked up backwards it might not flow past there...

The thing about my adapters are that they had no direction for which is to flow in and flow out. What I have read was when you look into the fittings, 1 is almost directly over the the center of the filter/NA stud in block and the other ones are off to the side. The one off the side is the flow out and the one over the center is flow in. So what I have is my flow out the block (off centered) into the oil filter (centered fitting) then from the oil filter (off centered) to my cooler, then cooler back to the block (centered)

To build oil pressure, I'd do as suggested by ARZ in this thread: http://www.supramania.com/forums/sh...after-a-fresh-rebuild&highlight=assembly+lube

Every 7M motor I have built, I disconnected the timing belt and ran the oil pump drive with a drill and watched a mechanical gauge as it built pressure and I 100% was positive I had primed the pump before I installed it.

It's a little bit harder to do this in car with the radiator still in place, but with an air ratchet it shouldn't be a problem (granted the air ratchet is not an impact ratchet... impact tools on parts that use bearings is not ideal)

I might try that but everything is getting oil except my turbo, there's like no pressure going up to it. That's the part that freaks me out, like something internal for sure.

Thanks man haha Yeah this motor is driving me up a wall, nothing but a pain since I built it. Something missing here, another part there, his wouldn't fit right, etc. I may just shift gears into another powerplant after this thing is running.

update! it runs and has oil pressure!! Some noob crossed the hoses............ yeah

I was able to drive it today and it ran ok, still tweaking the map.. I got it running okay (less fuel) with no black smoke pouring out but not a crisp throttle. Tried another map file from a member and it ran crisp but SUPER rich, black smoke like crazy! Any advice? Or if someone has a good mapecu file they can shoot my way please do.

ALso was able to get some shots of it moved with my new wheels :) oh they are sexy but the car DEF needs to be lowered, looks a bit to tall

Here's the first vid from tonight :D It's a tad dark but you can here the smoothness of the throttle and motor. I worked out some of the hesitation on my Map but it still needs some work. Tomorrow I will have more videos and one of a drive! I am sooo freaking happy that it's finally starting to come together!

More updates, I just rather not start a new thread and clutter the forum up haha

Got my autometer cobalts wired and running after some wiring issues. Fixed my water bypass with some AN hose and fittings I had laying around, finished my brakes ( new rotors on all 4 corners) and up next is exhaust from the DP to the CAT and on the road we go, FINALLY! Got a new camera this past week so I put it to the test and keep in mind the car is dirty as it's been sitting for quite some time while I have been working on it.
