Alright guys & gals I noticed that I had not posted a beginning thread here so let's go:

My first Supra, 1989 N/A 5 speed non Targa. I found it driving down from my house so I stopped in and bam $650 later it's in my house. The car had sat for quite some time with the intake and such off because the owner gave up on cleaning the car up. Interior was nasty as was the car.

These are the first pics as it made it to my house. I noticed I never took interior cleaned shots so I'll take some tomorrow hopefully with my wheels and tires off my truck since they are nearly brand new. (225/50/17's)

The car is now running and I should be transferring my tags tmorrow if all pans out before I go to work. I already order a few parts like

MSD wires (not installed yet, still in transit :3d_frown: )

K&N filter

New shifter boot and brake cover (installed)

Magnaflow 3" SS muffler ( #14834 for reference sakes)

Exhaust will be worked this upcoming week if not the following.

More to come :naughty:

Sweet car for the price! And the interior really doesn't look that bad! (Well from the pics i see).. But yeah i agree with justin why 3" on a NA? Might want to do something a little more like a 2.5"..

Maybe he's going 3" so that in the future he can go turbo and not have to get another exhaust...

Thanks guys and yes shaeff is right later on down I will be going turbo, not sure when but I'd rather have the exhaust already there. Even if I stick with N/A with a header and some head work the 3" would do rather well. I'd like a deep rumble also

Thinking ahead is definitely the way to go on these cars, otherwise you'll spend a fortune. Twice.

Anyway, good job on the buy, and welcome!

If you're going turbo, stick with it, don't back out because you'll have a slower than stock NA with a rumbling can..

I bet you've fallen in love with it already, some of use can't get enough (I'm actually thinking of picking up a 4th Supra but parking's tight around here..)

ahh you're right shit I did't even look to see if it "had" already been done..... If not I can do it, just need the fittings a vacuum and bam there we go

I must say it drive very well too considering the stationary time it's spent. Oil change is in store tomorrow, HID's, stereo and swap rims and tires perhaps. Then for a cruise to go watch the new fast n furious haha
