^ That accomplishes absolutely nothing. How does a 180* thermostat keep a car cooler? 210 as in coolant temps, or oil temps?
210 isn't that bad. Make sure your fan shroud, undertray, and fan clutch are in great shape and you'll be fine. Also, you may want to make sure that your radiator isn't clogged in any areas.

How old is your water pump, I have seen several pumps fail due to impeller erosion/corrosion. Bad impeller=> low coolant flow=> overheating
190-200 deg F is where you want your coolant temps. Below 176 deg, the ECU will direct warm-up enrichment....above 210 deg, it pulls timing to prevent detonation due to heat.
Is your radiator the original one? If so, you should seriously consider getting a new one that really flows. I would get one of the improved bigger radiators.
Before I knew of those Fluidyne and Koyos etc. I just bought another stock one. Then I changed out ALL coolant hoses when I fixed my bhg and added a new thermostat and now she runs nice and cool! Also use Toyota's stock (red) coolant.
Oh, and if you're a turbo, removing that first cat makes a HUGH difference for under hood temps.in general.

radiatorbarn sells stock replacements for under $200. They are copper/brass construction which is better then aluminum.
Aluminum is only better then a copper/brass radiator cause it looks better and lighter. Brass/Copper is proven to cool better. My 3 row radiator costed me $180 shipped. Factory is 2.
