I agree, it's usually called a splash sheild on other cars as it stops water from getting int he bay as easily (and letting belts slip)

If it was a more durable piece (like a heavy aluminum piece that was on my truck), I wouldn't have any issues running it at all... I just can't see spending that cash when it's gonna get torn up, you know?

This is basicly a hint for someone to make one out of metal since I know it would sell pretty well...

The undercover is a very important and grossly overlooked component.

While it might not noticeably affect the temperature levels in cooler climates, it does have an effect on how air flows in and around your engine compartment.
It's relationship to engine operating temperatures becomes more critical in hotter climates.

In other words, if you live in a cold area you can probably get away without it, but in Texas or Southern California it's definitely going to make a noticable difference.

I have one. I'll install it this weekend and see what hapend with the temperature :naughty: . Yesterday was at 115F:cry:
