Well, I had this same thing happen to me this morning Joe.
Woke up around 8-9am, and had a pain in my left testicle. I got out of bed and it got much, muuuch worse.
I'd been working on the Supra since friday. I went from a bare block and head to in the car and almost running in 3 days because I'm moving to North Carolina tomorrow and needed it running. All I had left to do this morning was put gas in it, prime it, connect some IC pipes and she was good to go after 15 months of not driving it.
Well I woke up and my dad comes into my room saying "When are we starting?" He's been helping me the past few days even though he doesnt know much about cars, just there for support. So I tell him I'll be out in 30minutes. This is when i got up and realized this pain was much more serious that I had thought. I tell him the problem, and we call the medical center. they told me I could see a doctor in about 3 hours. So I say ok... I'll try holding in there. About 20 minutes passes and the pain is so bad I need to go to the ER.
The entire way there, to waiting in the ER, talking to the nurses, getting sent to different doctors all I could think about was this thread. Oh and the excruciating pain. I understood what was probably the case and it made it much easier when the doctors broke it to me that I needed the same emergency surgery. They said you have 6-8 hours after the first symptoms to catch this and save the testicles, and my fertility. The surgery went great, Saved the left, and fixed the right so this cannot happen again.
I'd just like to thank you Joe, for sharing your experiance as it made mine much easier to cope with, and really gave me hope that it would be fine.
But now I'm stuck with a Supra almost ready to run, and I can't move to NC for another week, which sucks because my classes start the 18th. But at least I'm healthy!
cliffs: Same exact thing happened to me, had surgery, everythings good, and I'm still stuck without a running Supra still:cry:
