I've been following this thread and listening to what everybody had to say.
From the outside looking in, based on what you have described, It sounds like you have a 650 hp set-up (conservatively) I would just offer this simple advice:
Don't rush out and make any huge changes. I think you already solved your problem, i.e. Boost leak. When your sure you have the ic pipes and vacuum lines barrell tight...check them again.
Boost is a sneaky bastard. It'll escape right under your nose, in a place you were sure was a dead lock seal! I can't tell you how many times I had trouble locating where my psi drop was coming from, because I didn't carefully look at a component I was "sure" "no way" could be leaking and therefore the problem.
I wouldn't fuck around with stratospheric timing maps just yet. Not at least until I was sure about everything else. I have seen more engins go kaplooee because of agressive timing than anything else I can think of.
Definitley racing fuel. I have reservations about meth injection (but that's another subject).
Bigger spring fo sho.
I agree with one of the posters who stated that it's probably some simple little things that added up.
I think if you're patient and thorough, you'll be in great shape. Good luck!
