Just seems with the current technology 400 is quite achievable but 500 you have to work for :)!

500hp on 1 dyno pull or 400hp 1yr daily driven. Both very challenging to get :)

BTW, I like the idea of 400hp cars being on the site. get 50-100 cars or so showcased, lots of interest in the cars and the site. Then you put all the <500hp in a special section and showcase the big boys. 400hp shows you know what you're doing at least and you love your supra.

If you're sitting at 550rwhp, swap the camshafts out with something better designed than the stockers, and join the 600rwhp club ;)

To do it safely would take camshafts, dual or external fuel pumps with customizing of the fuel tank and running oversized fuel lines from the tank all the way up to the engine and back.

I've heard from many sources that the stock fuel feed line from the tank won't support much over 550whp, and fuel tank/line modification is further than I plan on going right now. If I'm wrong about this, somebody please PM me. I don't want to threadjack. :)

making sure everyone has a good list of what their mods are and how they got there would really help

would be nice if it was open for people to read, not all of us have the money to blaze the trail outselves...

I'd love to see it! Seems like the majority of people are 300-400rwhp, a lot of 400-550rwhp, but there are very very few that come to mind, that are over that 600rwhp mark!
Define a lot.
No one who says that 400rwhp MkIIIs are common ever provide any basis in fact for the statement, yet it happens all the time. The 7MPower site was up & maintained for a very long time before it went defunct & it managed a whopping 23 Supra membership during its lifetime. And over 30% of them went away or were redone before the site went down.

For people who are capable of making a 600+ RWHP 7M, making 400rwhp is easy; but for most, I maintain that it is anything but. The bulk of the participants in the various forums still ask what spark plugs to use, so all this hullabaloo about making it exclusive is amusing.

You guys just want a tiny site to compare penis sizes amongst a tiny group of you. Have at it fellas!

:word8kn: I have to say that this man has a very valid point. *Joins 400whp bar bandwagon*.

Very good point - then again, being here in Florida, maybe I'm spoiled on the 400+ rwhp crowd around here :naughty:

Perhaps a showcase of the 600+ crowd, with another section of the 400-600rwhp Supras?

 for being able to view the guys' rides that inspire the rest of us, either way!

Having a seprate stage for the 600whp+ guys would be cool. I just think it's too high of a bar to get on the site.

I completely agree with Larry. 400whp is not all that easy for most Supra owners, and 600whp+ is just unnecessary. Funny that no one mentions midrange hp or driveability. You have to sacrifice a little of both to get to 600+whp, so to me that's not even a reasonable goal for anything but a drag car.

Yeah, yeah, but what do you know about supras?....................:biglaugh:

I dont have a 7m so I'm already out of the loop, but I do make 446rwhp and it's a blast to drive. However, if I had 150 more horses, it would seem traction would be a big issue and I wouldn't dare drive it if the roads were wet. It would be nice to say I made 600rwhp, but I don't think it would be necessary for a daily driver. Maybe I should start my own 445+ rwhp 1jz club........:biglaugh:

GTE power covers 7m's, 1j's and 2j's. I'm sure there will be an exception for 1j's, maybe 350rwhp? Since they are small and weak :biglaugh:

Hey guys I still have all the web pages here on the comp, just need a host to upload it to pretty much.

Thank you Larry for backing me up on the 400whp mark as it has been an uphill battle. I have what amounts to a 400rwhp setup but keep running into little issues that keep me from hitting it.

If anyone wants to step forward I will again offer the same deal I offered Duane:
Free page building with input and commitment to a min of 2x a month updates. Same requirements and all as the last site as I want this for the good of the community. Anyone who wants to help is more than welcome to.

400 is too low and 500 is my final answer :D The Site you have, may be different than what I have IIRC, since I had a different guy help me with my site. (after you and I couldn't get things figured out remember?) Do not upload any of my site that you have please..I will deal with it or email me with what you have first. (Then we can go from there) I do not want anything put up until I get everything sorted out first and have the final say. Thanks :)

I came up with this idea for GTE Power when I had more time and I do want to get things rolling but I also have some more info to pout on it. The RWHP will be 500 plus.(notice I edited the title) I will have to come up with something a little different since 2J's make 400 on stock twins and I don't want 50 million twin turbo supras on it. wouldn't you guys agree on that?

I had someone that helped me with the site design initially, then he was out of touch. Friend of Michelle's If someone can help out then, I could start on this again.

It will stay at 500 and Nate was joking at 600. ;)

I don't see what is so wrong with pushing the envelope... I hear so many people cry about the way MKIVs get so much attention, but when asked to step up thier MKIII, :dunno: 400hp IS easy to make... 500 is a little harder...

600hp for only a drag car? what? So all these 2JZ MKIVs that are STREET driven 600+hp cars are what? Drag cars? Or is it because they have 2Js so they are touched by the hand of God?

I WANT an exclusive site... Sorry... It has nothing to do with my huge manhood, ;)... hahaha... But seriously, it's like this, I REALLY looked up to 7Mpower, I was THRILLED when they added me, but sad as hell when they let the site fold under... I went there to see the mods, the cars, get ideas, read the write ups... That's what Duane wants to do with this site, make it a destination site for MKIII owners looking to build a better car, a RELIABLE car... And, a destination site for those wanting to step up and rise above the average MKIII...

Anyway, there will ALWAYS be haters or people who want to put it down, or have better ideas or whatever... They have the energy to talk shit, but dont seem to have the energy to DO anything... Why not support it? Why not promote it? Why not appreciate what the man is trying to do for this car/community...

500hp... My vote...

Duane I have both the originals and the updated ones. The original ones (grey background that were originally uploaded) are my intellectual property and I can repost them. I will not rehost the white ones as I didn't create them and this have no claim to them. I wish this would have taken off more but the constant changes and mounting phone bills (which I absorbed without help) forced things to be backburnered.

7MPower had a nice, clean, easy to update site which is what I was trying to accomplish with GTEPower that if need be other people could stelp up and update later on as needed. It was always going to be a work in progress (much like our cars) where things were constantly going to be tweaked.

Hello Duane,
Keep the 500rwhp entry requirement, but change the name of the site to "MYSUPRAKEEPSBREAKINGANDITSINTHEGARAGE.COM," LOL. Whatever you do, don't require that they actually function as cars, since most don't; and if they do, not for very long!

Enjoy your lonely site, but at least you'll have your dyno sheets to keep you company.
