Thank god you cut the tabs off the compressor, I depise seeing them on every 4088
I didn't cut them off, you just aren't looking hard enough :)

The BOV now has its own vacuum source, but it still surges like a MOFO. I think it's the location more then anything else. It's right after the turbo. I'm going to have to make some room, and get it welded on closer to the throttle body.

drewgo: My BOV is an HKS SSQV (new model, non-adjustable). The wastegate is an HKS 50mm (a real one, not a knockoff).

Edit: Oh, and I noticed today that there's something wrong with my clutch. I think the throwout bearing has gone bad. Ah well, that's life for you.

Took the car to get tuned today. I only managed 400whp@15psi. I ran out of fuel from my pump. Need a new pump, then I'll try again.

And the crankwalk is getting bad. I need to change these thrust washers asap.

NIce dude, you still missing about 180 more HP. :naughty:
15psi is pretty good, I made 399 @ 1.05 bar with is just over 15psi, Sounds about the same characteristics. Got a Dyno sheet?

400whp @ 15psi is actually pretty good, you'll see another 100whp @ 18-20psi. I don't even need to dyno my car to know thats exactly what I'm doing, as A340E's slip @ 400whp lol.

Lets just put it this way. My friends 2JZGTE SC300 with a PT76GTS did 360whp @ 12psi, and 550whp @ 18.

I thought you were suppose to get about 11rwhp per 1psi of boost. I guess that statement is false if your friend got 190 rwhp @ 6psi. That's a little over 30rwhp per 1psi of boost. That's an insane amount of power for six more psi. I need to get me some racing fuel and turn my boost up to about 25psi one time to see what I can make on my little motor...........:biglaugh:

Running such a low boost on a bigger turbo is very uneffcient. Once you get closer to 20psi or more, things start working the way it should.

That rule of thumb is somewhat true, once a turbo is on it's efficiency range on it's map. On a 65mm turbo, you're not on the map til you get in the 18-20+ psi.

At 11psi I did 342, add 9more and I ended up at 468. 126 for 9psi.
I am almost tempted to see what happens with Race Gas.:naughty:
