no mig welder for steve now

gone for a tig courtesey of mark at marine fabrications just been having a practice tonight as it is a different art of welding but i think i have more or less mastered it now so over the next week the manifold will start tro go together

zavs it was er mates rates should have been retail about 1700 dollars with pipes etc but hey what can i say

nah im going to do them ian got the hang of it now infact its easier then mig welding if you have steady hand

today after 3 weeks of stuff just going right in the fabrication department i think we are getting somewhere
finaly got one of the 3 into 1 collectors made and trial fit a couple of the runners hooray so nexr week all that remains is to check a couple of things clearence wise under the hood and fab up the second collector and then it really is just a case of knocking the runners up whhhhhhooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Those 90 bends look a little sharp, is there any way to pull a constant (ish) radius with the amount of room you have to work with?

the problem is that there is no room the turbo takes like al of it up the bends are fine jake they are 1d cast stainless elbows so nice flow as well as being tight runners are 48.3mm or 1 7/8 inch whichever you prefer
