Keylan, are you going to caravan with us? We'll probably have to leave around 8:00 unless everyone wants to meet up at the Wafflehouse in Fultondale and have breakfast.

I found out my problem. We dropped the tank and removed the twin walbro to find a whold in the aluminum line right above the pump. We had to get another line from another gas tank. We drilled out the other one, replaced it and soldered it back in place. It now cranks perfectly. I"ve got a lot of tuning to do though. It's running rich. I'm going to lower the fuel pressure a little and drive it after this rain stops. Engine bay is looking better, but I've still got a lot to do.

Keylan, I'll call you later or if you read this give me a shout out.

Why me? Drove the car to put a little gas to get me by til I can get some somewhere else tomorrow. Get 1/2 mile down the road and the damn targa flies off!!!!! All I could do was watch in the mirrors as it crashed back down to earth :( I jerk offed the side of the road. Sprinted back down the road to get it before another car came. Took it home to examine it. To be honest it really isn't that bad (as far as fixing it is going to go) But it knocked a nice bit of paint off in one spot. BUT it still fits on and locks like it should and everything. So the if it rains tomorrow I'll still be able to make it! <evil laugh> Just have to fix it later. The parents are out of town, so no Dad here to do the body work. But if it's not raining in the morning, I am gonna ride with the top off anyways, so it won't look weird. hahaha. Don't have the right MAF still, and the hood didn't turn out worth a crap unfortunately. I am talking about the paint. It did some weird stuff on the under side, and it doesn't quite match the rest of the car. But oh well. The car is all one color now. And I'll just have to re-clean the back of the car when we get there cause it is gonna be black :( But I am pumped and can't wait!

I had a great time as well! Can't wait til the next one! And don't worry Mario. I SHOULD by then. I only got a few more parts for the 6-speed swap, then I will be saving all my pennies for an AEM EMS and turbo goodies :) Hopefully you'll have all your issues worked out too and we can have some real fun on the way there ;)

SFS (Jeremy, Jared, and the gang) outdid themselves this year. even though i just spectated, I had more fun Friday. my first time at a roadcourse, and it rains all day, but a blast regardless.

my car was begging for 10's, but ignition breakup wasn't going to go away. at least i got some money out of it.

jay, we'll talk about a dyno day soon

It's Not Important Bro
The meet was outstanding. Making new friends, seeing fast cars, building memories with good friends and quality time with my 13 yr old son (it was his first trip to the strip and he is absolutely hooked :icon_bigg).
Is was "good times" in its purest form.

Major Props to speedforsale.com for putting on the event and the Steele drag facility was just awesome. It's obvious Jeremy, Jarred and all the other guys are in this business for all the right reasons. The meet grew 50% from last year. In times like these, to grow an event speaks for itself, nuff said there.

I have never seen as many awesome tuner cars in one place at one time. It's a shame my little cheap camera will not nearly do them all justice. The MKIII and MKIV was represented in dominating fashion as expected. I will post up some of my pics later tonight or tomorrow.

Well, I hope to have my problem solved. Now all I have to do is remove my head and rebuild it. I took it to Huxracing today and he said it's the valves are lifting so the boost is going right through the head. Tell your friend, I'll be looking for him.........:evil2:

I'm glad we all had a good time and everyone made it back home safely.

Mario should have run low 13's or high 12's with a well running 2jz. Hopefully next year he can make it back down and improve on those runs. I"m definately dynoing next year. I should have all of my bugs worked out by then. I've never seen a MKIII dyno at this meet in three years.
