Dear mdr40z,

Hi we are not selling it anymore,the manufacturer started selling it on Ebay at our cost so it is not a profitable item any more, please have you friend contact me so that we can get this resolved, americancarbonfiber@gmail.com

But the old auction states "Since we are the manufacturers we can custom make it with other types of Carbon Fiber Colors"

Why lie about something so trivial, what else are they lying about? Too funny that the new "manufacturer" is using the same pictures on the new auction. Hopefully no one here purchases anything else from them.

If you get you're door sills, I may have to look into some as well.... I need new ones back with new mounting hardware. Still searching for a good place to get them.


This is why I love this community. I know I'd do the same for any of you if it was my area, or sending a message, etc... Was going too and then saw the response from the seller. Good luck, let us know what happens!

I have been effing contacting him.

I have sent three polite, detailed emails to that bloody address in the passed weeks without reply.

I will send another upon hearing this.

Wish me luck and thanks for your support, guys.

EDIT:

I've calmed down and sent him a message. I hope it's up to snuff:

"Hello American Carbon Fiber,

I really hope that this message gets to you this time. I am disappointed in the lack of communication, for my previous attempts to establish contact has gone ignored.

I have heard from a source that the item I have ordered, and paid for, is no longer available. Let's do a refund."

Short and sweet and to the point.

Let's hope this works.

Well,

Thanks to your guys' help I emailed 'American Carbon Fiber' and received a response.

They asked for my details, which I gave.

A few minutes later I received another reply stating that they swore the item was shipped out and that they would look for the UPS tracking number and reply to me with it.

Sound familiar?

So I replied with, "Okay - but last time you told me this, I didn't receive a response for an entire month."

So I waited three hours. Nothing.

I sent them another email, "Did you find the tracking number yet?"

That was two hours ago.

Seems like they're up to the same old games again. This is ridiculous.

I say you have waited long enough. Thats international fraud. I unno what all can be done, but take it to the extreme.

I have an update.

After you guys started drawing the attention from the eBay user, communication was once again opened up.

I swapped a few messages - mostly the same as before... me wondering what my order status was, them beating around the bush and telling me they'd send me a tracking number that was never sent.

Finally I sent off another email after having them ask for my shipping address a second time - and this time I got a reply from the OWNER.

He apolagized, and said that he would personally make sure that the top I paid for was delivered. The person that I was dealing with "no longer works here".

So hopefully this gets settled.

Good news, I hope:

Have been talking with the owner of the company some more.

He says he cannot find any record of my item being shipped. (At this point, I thought he was going to give me the virtual middle finger and tell me to fuck off).

...And then he continued saying, "We'll make you a new one."

So I hope I have more luck with this than the last time.

I also hope he's not just saying that to get me "off his back."

Let's see how this goes.

Did he give you an estimate on how long this would take, that way you can email them to make sure it was shipped out, you dont want to wait and go through the same thing over again.

Also make sure you keep us updated, Im sure we could have minimum of 20-30 people emailing him about this until he goes nuts!
