yup :) pistons, rings, bearings, water pump, timing belt, and head and block machined, and MHG for just over $550

Cool! I had to use a bunch of stuff from my stepson's abortion. I got his HKS stopper, and undercut ARP studs, as well as his new water pump, and oil pump. I got a good package deal on the pistons, rings, bearings, and wrist pins, and a fair deal on a gasket set. I needed a new thermostat housing, which added another 25.00 to it. Plus I spent a fair amount on sandpaper for decking the block and head. Hey, it all worked out in the end.

NOT! Got too many other issues to deal with yet, and I've got no money, no job, and not enough gas to get there.

looking good, looking at it makes me want to fix my supra already.

Admiration much appreciated, thank you. It's not spot on perfect, but the issues are only a few minor annoyances, and not life threatening.
(I hope).:aigo:

I was playing! 30 ft lbs tops.

Gotya problem being the young guys read it don't realise you were joking and pull the tensioner bolt to 50ft/lbs (easy to do as it's a big diameter fine pitch bolt) and end up pulling #1 bore and then can't understand why their dip stick keeps popping out under boost ;)

Nah not really they just don't know any better and now and again you find one that actually listens and learns ;)

Too many bullshit car build shows on TV have brainwashed them into idiocy.
