For most of the past two years, oil prices have risen because the world's oil producers have struggled to keep pace with growing demand, particularly from China and India. Spare oil-production capacity grew so tight that market players feared that any disruption to oil production could create shortages.

Of course the right wing has been telling you this. The price of anything is whatever you are willing to pay. When the supplies start to pile up, somebody has to lower their price to move his product. Then the competitor has to lower his to not lose business. We have been in a forward cycle higher due to high demand. Normal corrections are now taking place.

One store in Ohio is listing 87 at $2.03/gal.

I should have listed price per unit. I read Lokis 1.02 and about fell out of my chair. I am guessing that is actually liters.

Yeah it is for liters, and it's now down to 99.9 :icon_bigg

My mom is gonna llet me fill all 18.5 gallons of tank today. Here I come 89!

The most I have ever put in was 18.1, and that was when it ran out. The pump takes up space, so does the expansion chamber.

What's to like about $2.97???!:icon_conf I won't be "likin' it" till it's about $2.40-$2.50, and won't be "lovin' it", till it's below $2.25, or less!
Expect it to go down this low, by Xmas!:x:

.99 cent gas would be awesome again. (Time to see if the prices on Toulene comes down to the 1.04 per gallon I paid a few years ago... )

Buy two more 55gal drums.. 114 octane, and you can run it 30% to 91 octane gas, and end up with about 98 octane in your tank... Great race gas, and it cleans your fuel system while you run it. (Main ingredient in most fuel injector cleaners is Toulene or Xylene.)

Xylene is 118 octane if you want to go that route. It's slightly more money however, but not much.
