I believe that the cheapest price around here for premium at a good gas station (76, Chevron or Shell) is about $3.40 a gallon for 92 octane.

I'll be headed back to CA in 40 days, though, and I know prices are considerably lower there.

About 3.00 - 3.10 depending on what 76 you go to here.

One store in Ohio is listing 87 at $2.03/gal.

I should have listed price per unit. I read Lokis 1.02 and about fell out of my chair. I am guessing that is actually liters.

3.12 USD/gal yesterday for 91 @ Chevron. Chevron's 91 is the only thing that touches my car. In my area, we only have 89, 89, & 91. I want 93 or 4, no fair!

No I believe they say you should use 91 on n/a's also.
Needed? Debateable.

Per the manual, reqm't for both NA & T is same, 87 min, 91 recommended for incresed performance.

2.69/gal today
Most are about that here, one was $2.58... Its funny, two weeks ago it was $2.87 here... so, 30 cents down in two weeks, wtf? I hope this trend continues... At this rate, in two and a half months, it'll be down to $1.08... YAY!
