Still think your covering up a problem. Remember it would do the same thing on stock computer?
no stock computer it was fine it just wont idle on stock computer because i didnt have the 5th plug.

The aem caused break up on 2 different cars and both cars reved fine on stock ecu

5th plug really?
Good thing idle is plug 1

We sat there in the shop when you wanted me to switch to stock because how fat it was running. Stock computer had an even worse break up. Up top

I don't remember reving it Steven it just would'nt idle. and when i first drove the car home the break up didn't happen until i got to Tucson hence why i sent that text and you told me it was more then likely the tune.

Either way the car will run and rev fine now on a stock ecu it just won't idle because of the plug i seem to be missing

Interesting.
The idle pins are in connector 1 and obviously work from me changing some AEM settings before Uou got it.

Hopefully one of these days you can get it tuned, will greatly increase fuel economy, spark plug life, and hp

So what do you big HP guys use for the R154 transmission mount?

I'm also gonna see if Albert will custom make me some solid pre89 motor mounts to go with it. I think this is part of my problem with these tranmissions i can see my motor just moving around so much (yes i can see it i have no hood on the car at the moment)

I was thinking of using this one http://secure.xpressorder.com/driftmotion/webstore/static/i-polytransmountforr154.php

Also about to purchase

Koyo OEM radiator
2JZGTE - Fan clutch
2JZGTE - Fan blade

I have the poly mount

And as long as you can supply the aluminum blocks, ill drill and tap the holes for motor mounts

Go to like metal industrial supply in Tucson, pick up some aluminum blocks (rems if possible(cheaper)) and then ill drill and tap it.

Measure the original motor mount to get dimensions. I made a set for billy and it cost $20

So newest transmission issue ....

Sometimes when i come to a stop in first gear clutch in the car will not want to come back out of gear until i move the car foward bit and then it will let me pull it out

Also 2nd gear is impossible to find when doing any type of spirited driving it doesnt grind just simply hard to find

Well this R154 is now going into my broken pile..

1st gear pops out when releasing the clutch...

I don't understand how my more powerful 7m never broke a trans but this 1jz eats them lol. its got to be the movement and these mounts i'm thinking.

Remember you use to give me shit on breaking my trans?

Pops out of first is the thrust washer. When are you gonna build one up?

lol yeah. i have about $600 right now and 3 broken R154's how much is it total to build one when all is said and done? I should add i have no idea how to build one and so i guess i allso have to pay someone :(

So more then likely another stock one is going in the car with solid motor mounts and good transmission mount and delaying tune again.

If anything stock motor mounts help absorb some of the shock.

Solid mounts I think will only make things worse.

It's about $600 to build one(parts)
Labor is another thing

Old tranny? Driving habits?

I've seen you drive, granny shifting not double clutching like you're suppose to.

I had my trust go out on me at my 10psi spring. Backing out of quiktrip it just shattered.

What gear oil you running?
