So things are finally turning around financially and it's time to finish what i started with this car.

But I'm having some trouble understanding the way the fuel system is going to be setup. Mainly with the AFPR. I have the duel feed rail from DM and the 1jz afpr kit.

I plan on running 2 feeds and a return with 1 pump inline and one.in tank.

I need someone to map it out for me if possible. I searched google for a bit and looked at alot of pics trying to understand how to setup the feed lines with the afpr.

You can run the feeds on the ends and put the return in the middle. If the 1j rail is like the 7m rail, you could do it like this. Fuel dampener spot=feed. Stock AFPR=Feed. CSI=Return

Front=feed
Rear=feed
Middle=return

Return goes

From rail, to side of afpr, bottom port of afpr to the tank.

I went to the dyno today and have 7 hours of being there and doing things i have major issues.

It will not free rev or underload go past 5000-5500, it just breaks up so bad. The tuner tried everything with the AEM and couldn't get it to go. He mentioned that the teeth count for the fuel was a little high, 18 vs 6 on a 2j he did a few days ago. He also tried locking the timing at a certain amount but when reving it would just go retard. No check engine light no problem codes nothing... His best advice was to look into the ignition system, coils (which are aftermarket new), ignitor, and so on so forth :(

ok, did some snooping around the aem today.

I checked timing and it looked like it matched up. I had a timing light, it was a bit difficult with the ATi damper because the marks are on the outside. I recalibrated the TPS and its weird with my foot completely off the throttle it marks the voltage at .54 but in the atm it shows it being 1.2-1.8% throttle all the time and when im WOT it now reads 98/97.5 instead of 0 & 100%.

^After i did this and checked timing, i went into the wizard and put the dwell to TT Supra the second i did that the tach was moving around bouncing around a few hundred RPM i put it back to 2.0ms and it still did the same, i lowered it even more to 1.7ms and it stopped doing that, i took it for a ride and it was able to go to 6-6500 then i got a huge backfire / mis and got off of it. Now it'll go to 6k no problem. I'm going to be picking up some wire to make a harness for the ignition system and see if that helps. If not i'll just try out the 1zz coils i have with new wires.

sucks that you haven't found out whats wrong with your car yet but i have to say thank you for this thread because i was having the same problem with the aem standalone from DM and mine was that the dwell setting was set at 6 we put it to 2.5 and it started revving freely to 7500rpm so thank you and good luck
