yeah lol. there's too many white mk3's here. mine is on the right on the jack stands, Jordan's (turbohabanero) in the middle, then my buddy Dan's mk3 on the far left which i'm car sitting for about 5 weeks.
so an update, we hit a small wall with the turbo side of the engine. the ebay manifold holes to mount it to the head are off and need to be reamed bigger. also we realized the t4 to t3 adapter we were going to use to bolt the new t3 turbo to the T4 manifold had a stupid design flaw and can't be used as originally planned. so the turbo side is at a stand still till we figure something out to make it all work.
also since the motor was missing alot of accessories to begin with, there is no hardware present to bolt on the accessories (alternator, power steering pump, waterneck, and other misc bolts) so things are taking us a minute to bolt on as we search for appropriate hardware lol for now my jz unfortunaely has fallen victim

He plans on running A/C I'm the near future but not right now. He doesn't have an A/C compressor. We made some progress last night but was slowed down cause we had to re tap a few hold in the block and stuff.
Clint it's not in yet cause we're still dealing with the turbo side issues and we prefer to install it while outside of the car. Before the end of the day it will be in the car.
Agenda:
Hole in the firewall for harness.
Have the T3 to T4 adapter welded to the manifold
Install the turbo kit and oil lines
Install clutch kit and trans
Take a few pics update you guys
Install the engine
Hook up fuel and harness, power and grounds.
See if it fires up.
Then more pictures.

No i'm not welding it to the manifold but i did have to get it modified to work but it will work and act as it shouldAlbert;1881492 said:
The little adapter plate he got is designed crappy. There isn't away fr us to bolt the adapter to the T4 manifold. But I guess he took it to an exhaust shop and their modifying it to work now.

A lot of money and time into this, cool update been following this one.
Bay actually looks quite nice with that black paint, changes my thoughts on another car I have done.
