Somehow i just noticed i didn't order a brand new Serpantine belt tensioner so i will need to get pick on up.. Anyone no the part number of one that will work for the 1JZ? I would like to see if i can by it from Toyota so i don't have to wait for it in the mail.
I'm assuming it is the same as a 2J but on DM they have special one's for auto and manual blah blah blah. So if anyone can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
the Gates"brand" and OEM auto should be the same from DM and both compatible with 5 spd. only differnece is price probably because of the brand. they both don't have the dampener attachment.

your jz came with the tensioner with out the dampener and so did mine. We'll just take your tensioner to toyota later this morning to compare just to be sure.
