Edit: The 2nd most obvious part is eliminating many feet of piping which will eliminate all the unnecessary bends in the stock piping and you will gain efficiency and an increases throttle response…

If there is quicker throttle response, the air enters the engine faster, if air enters the engine faster it will leave faster, which in the exhaust gases will spin the exhaust wheel on the turbo faster, and gives you faster spool.
The 1st most obvious part is removing all the ic pipes that run over and near the hot ass turbo on the exhaust side of engine
