Edit: The 2nd most obvious part is eliminating many feet of piping which will eliminate all the unnecessary bends in the stock piping and you will gain efficiency and an increases throttle response…

So according to my book Performance for Dummies Version 1.2
If there is quicker throttle response, the air enters the engine faster, if air enters the engine faster it will leave faster, which in the exhaust gases will spin the exhaust wheel on the turbo faster, and gives you faster spool.

The 1st most obvious part is removing all the ic pipes that run over and near the hot ass turbo on the exhaust side of engine

Wow, I learned alot. I was confussed,I guess it's because what I didnt realize nor was it mentioned, your answers are based on a aftermarket intercooler, verse's an entirely different stock intercooler which have the pipes all on one side instead of one on each side. In the case of the stock intercooler then you would have the sharp bend as I've mentioned before. You guys on this forum are very smart guys. You would think the enginners at Toyota would think of this. I can see alot of resrictions on the stock I.C. pipes, look at the bend in through the fender, the resriction, at both, the 3000 pipe and at the plastic half flat "S" shaped pipe. I would get busted at the smog station for an after market intercooler

Thanks, I learned alot!
