I'm just wondering since i just bought my R154 transmission a while ago, im thinking is it ok to go with the stock PP and a used 6 Puck clutch and new 1JZ Flywheel?? I have pictures of everything and i want some feedback to see if its all good to use. Btw i have two PP's and im not sure which is better. (The PP from ebay looks like the stock Toyota one.)

The guy i bought the clutch kit from included the PP(Darker one) & the 6 puck clutch.
He said it was this exact one.

I wouldn't put that used clutch in my car. You'll be dropping the transmission again soon to put a new one in there. I'd rather do it right the first time. Good luck either way., Jay

yah man, don't ruin that pretty 1jz flywheel with a crappy used clutch. Just save up and do it right the fist time, and you will be a lot happier in the long run.

I hope you're putting this on a 1JZ because that 7M flywheel looks cracked to shit.

The ebay flywheel is an OEM one, but it may have been heat treated to make it stiffer (doubtful by the looks of it though)

I would also suggest getting a new clutch, don't put a used one in. I would also get the pressure plate resurfaced.

ebay PP is used... (finger wear)

disk is used as well...

I'd get a new clutch personally...as dropping the tranny isn't fun. I'd also recommend replacing ALL of the throwout bearing assembly (hub, bearing, clips, washers, ect)

^ haha, go ahead and order the stage 5, then regret it ;) Dont buy the stage 5.

you can also do xtreme pressure plate with the full disk if you prefer.

I have ran a 6 puck sprung hub in every supra I have ever owned. they chatter a LITTLE when cold and slipping it (reversing out of the driveway was the time it chattered)

After a small drive it ran just like a normal clutch.

an iron disk?

Biggest on/off switch. I would never recomend an iron disk.

The 6 puck has friction surfaces (the pucks)

an Iron disk is just that, Iron.
