Ckanderson said:yea, it's the last step before going twin plate, or if you can't afford a twin plate. An Iron disk is NOT the same as the full face disk others have suggested.
Go ahead and buy it
Ill talk to you in two weeks when you hate it, and are buying a 6 puck from me
Ckanderson said:a 6 puck tends to chatter SOME. some people make this into a huge thing and say it chatters all the time. in my experience (two cars) the chattering has been minimal, and really limited to backing out of our steep driveway. once the clutch had a little heat in it, it ran fine, but gripped like a mo fo.
enjoy
upgradedsupra said:I have to agree with CK on this. I have driven a car with an iron disk and it sucks. I would never suggest such a clutch that is lke an on/off switch. Even SPEC will tell you that it is NOT a DD clutch. You can go with the 6 puck disk with an RPS PP if you like. My clutch held (almost) for this power and my Torque is 700RWTQ.
SPEC is working on a new clutch combo for my Supra and will be available to the public after I test it and make sure it all works out. I will be making a post with more info once I get the go ahead to do so. It will hold BIG power. (much more than what I have) This new set-up will have a stock feel to it as well :naughty:
