Its a 1973 Toyota Mark II.... just like a chaser, etc.

The oil cooler up front is something a lot of you supra owners will not understand.

First, start looking at JGTC KPGC10 skylines and celicas and such from the 70's.. they all have oil coolers mounted up front.

Then go look at bosozuka cars in Japan, they all have that.

Therefore, it is era appropriate.

Well, in that case.....BADASS!!! Thanks for the school lesson though. I had no idea.

ya know, I always wanted to take a 32 ford (or equivalent) roadster and put a 2jz in it....

...just think, a gt40 sticking out of the side of the hood to where it looks like it's just hanging there, FMIC....oh yeah.

One day, I'll get around to doing that...;-)

I was looking through a Hotrod magazine and I was thinking of doing something crazy with an old toyota. I know restoring a classic is great but it would get kind of old. What you did is more then I was thinking, it's out right amazing! That's what I call thinking outside the Box!

Very nice!

The era appropriate oil cooler is a good concept; but with the cooler hanging on the outside of the car, attention is taken away from the nice chrome bumper and grill. Besides, wasn't your intent to modernize an old car and restore it with updated components, e.g., 1JZ, full custom independent rear suspension, R-154 tranny, full custom air ride, etc...so you could continue to modernize the car by putting the cooler inside the engine bay. The car will look much cleaner.

Please get the car painted and get rid of the 1973 era faded paint and rust. Paint is one of the key elements of restoration. Again, very nice!

This is not a restoration... It weighs 2700lbs. and has around 300HP...

Its got one main purpose......

to make others cry.

I didn't think it was anything special until the bottom part of the car loaded and I could see it's true stance.

The wheels, the suspension, it makes it look so frigging badass?

Has it upset any unsuspecting posers yet?
